There are both a Hazard Communication Plan and a Chemical Hygiene Plan in place that ensure our policies and actions at NSCC comply with Federal, State, and Local Hazardous material handling regulations, and we always deal with such items in the most responsible way possible.

As a state institution, we are obligated to remove hazardous waste in compliance with OSHA and state standards, which are applied differently depending on which type of hazardous or non-regulated chemical waste is in question.
