A brief description of the garden:
The SOUL (Students for Organic, United Living) Garden started in the Spring of 2010 on Centennial Campus near Lake Raleigh. Funding comes from the Inter-Residence Council, student government, local businesses and the University Sustainability Office. Material donations from the Facilities Operations department, the crop science department, and the Permaculture class also aided in starting the SOUL Garden. The garden has regular volunteer work days and has plantings and harvests year round.
