The Niagara College Student Administrative Council (SAC) implemented the universal bus pass in 2007. In 2013-2014 academic year, the U-pass was provided at a discounted rate of $76.65/term, which allows students unlimited access public transit across the Niagara Region.

Niagara College provides multiple methods employees and students can utilize telecommuting. Virtual desktop technology allows employees and students to access on campus information from remote locations. New teleconferencing technology allows employees and students to arrange meetings with other employees or students in remote areas removing the need to travel from home, between campuses, or other remote locations.

A brief description of the condensed work week program:
Niagara College offers flexibility hours in the form of a condensed work week; however, it is a case to case basis to be approved by individual supervisors. The Support Staff Collective Agreement has a provision which stipulates terms and conditions to implement compressed work weeks where possible. Also, the Academic Collective Agreement allows faculty to only be on site during scheduled class time and as long as faculty can prove all other work related requirements are being completed, they are free to work from where they please.
