A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the course inventory:

In the fall semester during the 2014-2015 academic year, two work study students were charged with completing the Academic Assessment for the STARS reporting. Each student was responsible for listing the courses and corresponding information as seen in the inventory attached above, as well as hyperlinking the course to the course website. The student was then responsible for going through the course outline of the program to determine if it fit the criteria for a "sustainability course", a "course that includes sustainability", or a course with "sustainability learning outcomes" as defined by STARS. If there was any hesitation by the students as to whether or not if fit the criteria, the students were required to discuss it with each other and bring it forward to the Sustainability Coordinator for discussion. The two students met weekly with the staff members of the Office of Sustainability for updates, discussions on any courses that may have raised questions, or any other relevant information related to the inventory. The students worked on the inventory completing it in March 2015.
