A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
During the two day New Employee Orientation the Sustainability Committee participates in the College Knowledge Circuit which provides all new employees an opportunity to learn about sustainability at Niagara College and all the opportunities there are for them to get involved. Re-useable water bottles are also provided to each new employee and information about the bottled water ban on campus is communicated among other projects and initiatives. The Sustainability Committee also participates in the Scavenger Hunt portion of New Employee Orientation where employees familiarize themselves with the physical layout of the college, including the Sustainability Wall.
