A brief description of the food donation program:
The Niagara College Canadian Food and Wine Institute donates all leftover food where possible. With more charities not allowing leftover food from vendors in Ontario it is becoming increasingly difficult to find charities to take the food. All leftover food that cannot be donated to charities is provided to students to take home; there is no prepared food waste coming out of this facility.
