Research Assistants, which are current students registered in a post-secondary program at Niagara College, can work full-time throughout the summer (35 hours/week) and part-time during the academic year (up to 12 hours/week). These are paid positions providing competitive hourly wages.

A brief description of the institution’s program(s) to encourage faculty research in sustainability:
The experience of engaging in sustainable research adds to the faculty members' skill set and CV and can integrate project findings into course material. In addition, they receive financial support to attend field-specific conferences, workshops and other events that are excellent for gaining knowledge and provide networking opportunities.
