A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation:
A sustainability booth is set up at the Student Services Fair during Orientation Week which highlights sustainability initiatives at Niagara College and provides information on how students can participate throughout the academic year. Sustainability Ambassadors will help disseminate information about sustainability volunteer opportunities throughout the academic year including events, campaigns, workshops, tours and activities. Sustainability training is provided to all Residence Advisors prior to students moving into residence and a Sustainability Training Program is also included in Residence Orientation for all students moving into residence.
