A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:

Depending on the unit/school, leadership teams can use a variety of methods for evaluating employee satisfaction. The use of a Qualtrics survey or other engagement/pulse survey tool is the preferred method so that the organization can track progress over time. Business units collect feedback and implement improvements where necessary. Each of the IT Leadership Team Members will review their business unit’s results with their respective teams. The survey will be run again next fall.


A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation:

NYU’s Administrative Management Council hosts a forum on Ideascale where employees can submit feedback and ideas related to employee satisfaction and engagement.
