A brief description of the bicycle sharing program:
Citi Bike is New York City’s bike share program and is available around virtually all NYU locations and in many parts of the City. By becoming an NYU Federal Credit Union member, students may be eligible for a $5/month Citi Bike membership. (link)
Does the institution participate in a car sharing program?:
NYU partners with Via to provide free, on-demand shared ride service as a no-cost alternative means of transportation between designated NYU facilities in Manhattan and Brooklyn during the overnight hours. (link)

NYU offers free charging for faculty employees who park in the Silver Towers Parking Garage.

NYU has four electric vehicle chargers in the Washington Square Village Garage that are open to the public. (Chargepoint link)

NYU’s Mortgage Program allows employees purchasing a residence close to campus to apply for reimbursement of mortgage origination fees up to three “points” or a maximum of $5,000.
NYU provides housing to many University faculty members, much of which is within walking distance to campus. This program is administered by NYU's Office of Faculty Housing and Residential Services, which is a comprehensive housing resource for University faculty. The office works directly with the Provost, faculty, senior staff, University deans, department chairs and other NYU constituents to seamlessly provide housing to NYU Faculty.

NYU participates in the Commuter Transit Program that offers a pre-tax benefit to save an average of 30% on public transit fees, transit parking cost, and/or carpool rides to commute. (link)

NYU provides airport shuttle service between Manhattan campus & LaGuardia/JFK airports to NYU students for $5 per seat at the end of the fall semester.
