Open access repository
Website URL where the open access repository is available:
A brief description of the open access repository:
The Faculty Digital Archive (FDA) is a highly visible repository of NYU scholarship, allowing digital works—text, audio, video, data, and more—to be reliably shared and securely stored. Collections may be made freely available worldwide, offered to NYU only, or restricted to a specific group.
In addition, Ultraviolet is a repository that allows users to discover original research materials, such as data or code, access proprietary data, licensed for use by the NYU community, and deposit your research for reuse and reproducibility. UltraViolet provides faculty, students, and researchers within our university community with a place to deposit scholarly materials for open access and long-term preservation. APC fund
A brief description of the open access APC fund:
To assist faculty with obviating the burden of APCs, NYU pursues "Transformative Agreements" with journal publishers in which APC fees are eliminated entirely. This is not a discount; it is open access and hybrid publishing at no cost to the researcher. Open access journal hosting
A brief description of the open access journal hosting services:
NYU provides a variety of technology services that can be used for journal publishing, including web publishing, web hosting, Manifold (an open access publishing platform officially supported by NYU), and NYU's institutional repository, the Faculty Digital Archive (FDA), which can support journal publishing in multiple ways. NYU has a dedicated "digital publishing specialist" librarian who assists faculty in the delivery of these services.
