The NYU Office of Sustainability conducted the "How Is Your Commute?" survey during the Fall 2019 semester, starting October 21st, 2019 and ending on November 27th, 2019. Over 15,000 NYU community members were surveyed. The survey asked NYU community members for information regarding their commute including primary and secondary transportation modes, location of departure at beginning of commute, input on factors influencing commuting decisions, and information to help the University calculate Scope 3 emissions from University sponsored travel.
