A brief description of the institution’s sustainability partnerships with the local community:
NYU's Community Fund gives grants to non-profits throughout New York's five bouroughs that range from serving immigrant social services to providing environmental education opportunities to children.
In addition, NYU has partnered with a variety of restaraunts to provide local and fair trade food on campus, including Think Coffee and COLORS Cafe.
