The NYU Garden Shop prioritizes the use of native plant species in landscaping. To achieve this, the NYU Garden Shop focuses on planting trees, shrubs, and perennials that evolved in our local area. This practice also requires less maintenance, watering and chemical fertilizers and pesticides than exotic species.
