NYU is supporting ARAMARK, the vendor contracted by the university to provide dining services, to establish guidelines for food service franchisees operating on campus.
NYU's ARAMARK representative notes:
“As a company, ARAMARK is currently working on developing corporate sustainability guidelines for our franchises. We are in the process of sending out an RFI (request for information) to evaluate the sustainable practices of all our franchises. Based on this information, we aim to develop sustainable guidelines for our franchises.”
