A brief description of the reusable to-go container program:
The reusable Meals-2-Go Container Program was launched as a pilot in one dining hall in February 2010 and expanded for pickup/dropoff in 3 dining halls in August 2010. NYU Dining washes and returns containers to students, who pay a $5 annual fee to participate. The program is expected to continue adding locations, and is currently accessible to the entire student body.
There are also biodegradable Meals 2 Go containers available in some halls.
