Does the institution have a wilderness or outdoors program that organizes hiking, backpacking, kayaking, or other outings for students and follows Leave No Trace principles?:
Yes

A brief description of the program:

The Hiking Club club offers a non-competitive social activity that is versatile enough to accommodate all ages and fitness levels with treks on nearby hiking trails and beaches in and outside the city.

The Hiking Club holds six to eight outings a year with most walks averaging two hours plus travel time. We go to parks, preserves, and beaches where city-bound members can have a healthy workout while exploring refreshing natural environments. Members are also encouraged to participate in charity walks during the year.
