A brief description of the certificate program(s):

The New Mexico State University Cooperative Extension Services provides the people of New Mexico with practical, research-based knowledge and programs to improve their quality of life. The program areas are; economic development, energy & water, farm & ranch, food & nutrition, food safety, health & family well-being, family finances, natural resources, yard & garden, and 4-H youth development.

There are several programs that are sustainability focused or address topics within sustainability. Some of these offerings include but are not limited to drought resources, the new mexico climate center, renewable energy, and air quality.
