A brief description of the sustainability newsletter or social media platform:

There is a weekly sustainability newsletter sent out to a listserve sent out every Monday during the semester. This newsletter gives shout outs to the campus community doing sustainability related work while also sharing campus sustainability related events and opportunities. It is also posted on the main sustainability website homepage.

Additionally there is a instagram page @nmsu_sustainability which posts educational information, event information, and more.

Yes

Within the LEED certified buildings there is a plaque indicating it's certification. Additional within the Facilities and Services main building all of the LEED building certifications are displayed.

Yes

There is an interactive campus map which shows different aspects of campus. One of these layers is sustainability features where you can identify spaces such as bike fix it stations, solar power, LEED buildings, gardens, etc.

From the "What Can You Do?" to be a Green Aggie on Housing's sustainability webpage:
"While shopping for college, we encourage you to make environmentally responsible choices. You may not think your individual choices will make a difference, but collectively, we make a difference together! Every decision and choice you make will have an effect, so here is our way of making it easy for you to have both a positive effect and a green living experience while you are at NMSU."
