Does the institution use frying oil that does not include trans-fats and seek to avoid foods that include trans-fats in its dining operations?:
A brief description of the trans-fats avoidance program, policy, or practice:
We use all zero-trans-fat oils in our fryers. Chik-Fil-A, one of our franchises, uses peanut oil. Our oils are given to a local company and they use the oil for bio-fuels in the community as well as for our bio-fuels machine at one of our agriculture extension offices in Las Cruces.
