At NJIT:

We do not have a defined total compensation philosophy, but we are working towards one. We have a mixed population of full-time, part-time, temporary and adjunct employees. For full-time staff & faculty, we pay above NJ's minimum wage; but the lowest rate is $17.06, which is below NJ's living wage for a family of 4 (2 working adults, 2 children).
