American Water Works (AWWA) - AWWA Student Chapter at NJIT works closely with the civil engineering department and hopes to bring students from other majors. Our members have an interest in the water industry including water supply, distribution, and quality. Through our events, members learn more about water as we emphasize our dedication to protecting our environment. Our members volunteer at nearby parks or streams, and visit water and wastewater treatment plants which helps them broaden their knowledge and experiences.

Engineers without Borders
Engineers Without Borders is a service-based organization looking to improve the quality of life in developing communities and establish long-term relationships with local organizations and communities through a culturally sensitive technological exchange. Through NJIT-EWB, students apply technical skills and problem-solving methodologies to create sustainable and scalable projects in regions of limited infrastructure or resources, all while enriching their knowledge of other cultures and languages and forming connections with professors, professionals, and other students.

Graduates for Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (GIDE) - Our mission is to promote inclusivity, celebrate diversity, and create equitable programs for the NJIT graduate student body. We aim not only to celebrate the diversity of the current graduate population but to increase the participation of historically underrepresented groups in future STEM graduate programs. We will support, educate, and recognize students of ALL backgrounds and create a safe space for dialogue.
