1. The university does not invest in industries with high pollution and high carbon emissions.
2. In response to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the University will continue to select enterprises with sustainable and stable operation, environmental protection and social responsibility as investment targets to implement the University Social Responsibility (USR).

Examples of CIR actions during the previous three years:

1. On October 4, 2021, the NTNU committee on investor responsibility was discussed and approved, in response to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and continued to select enterprises with sustainable and stable operations, environmental protection and social responsibility as investment targets, in order to implement the University Social Responsibility (USR).
2. On December 29, 2021, the NTNU committee on investor responsibility decided to incorporate environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) investment considerations into the “Key Points of Investment Management of the University” to actively implement the responsible investment of the University Fund and the University Social Responsibility.
3. NTNU does not invest in industries with high pollution and high carbon emissions, and incorporates environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) into the investment decision-making process.
4. The NTNU "School Fund's ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) Investment Guidelines" report will be reported to the Ministry of Education before May 20, 2011 in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education.
