NTNU SD Center--To comply with and in response to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), sustainable development is set as the overall goal of education and implemented in teaching and research, university social responsibility, international connections, and school management. Promote our school to become a sustainable campus with diversity, inclusion and resilience, and a national education and research institution that promotes sustainable development. In August 2019, the NTNU Committee for Sustainable Development was established. In August 2010, following the establishment of the committee, Sustainability Center was established in August 2010, to further promote and execute NTNU sustainability with a comprehensive approach.

Before 2019, the school's sustainability related business was in charge by the Environmental Safety and Health Center of NTNU. In 2012, the university participated in the Green University Union of Taiwan, serves the role as the founding school and one of the directors of the alliance. In August 2019, in response to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), sustainable development, therefore, was set as the overall goal of the university education, and implemented in various aspects of teaching and research, university social responsibility, international connections, and school management, prompting the school To become a sustainable campus that promotes sustainable development with diversity, inclusion and resilience and a national education and research institution that promotes sustainable development. In this way, the Sustainable Development Committee was established, with President Wu Zhengji serving as the chairman. The Sustainability Center was established the following year to strengthen the promotion of the school's sustainable business.
