A brief description of the institution’s professional development opportunities on sustainability in the curriculum:
NTNU organized the 2020 Environmental Education Conference with the Chinese Society for Environmental Education. The conference offered a platform for collaborative learning on sustainability. The participants include educators in non-formal education, as well as elementary, junior and high school teachers in formal education, faculty and students from 27 universities (The 2020 attendee list as attachment). The professional topics of sustainable development include " Curriculum Planning and Experiential Learning", “Teacher Teaching and Curriculum Evaluation”, "Environmental Learning Center and Program", "Nature Education in Elementary Schools", etc. Through rich learning and dialogue, participants deepen their understanding and reflection on the concept of sustainable development, and think about how to integrate and apply it to teaching.
