Does the institution host a food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource focused on alleviating food insecurity, hunger and poverty among students?:
Yes

A brief description of the food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource:

In order to provide meal discounts for economically disadvantaged students, NTNU once issued half-price meal cards for low-income students. Since less than half of the students actually received and used them, we suspended the issuance in 2019. Instead, a dedicated instructor actively cooperates with the economically disadvantaged students to offer the relevant support and resources. At the same time, NTNU provides the scholarships, grants, and living stipends to help students with economical and cultural disadvantages to eliminate the hunger crisis and improve their lives.
