National Taiwan University System: In consideration of their geographical proximity in Da-an District of Taipei City and their academic complementarity, National Taiwan University (NTU), National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) and National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) decided to establish the National Taiwan University System, in order to facilitate resource sharing, improve student learning outcomes, enhance pedagogy and research, augment social services and make a greater contribution to society, with the objective of becoming one of the world’s top university systems.

In responding to the pandemic of Covid19, the 31 Japanese Society of Environmental Education held a conference (on-line) to discuss the impact of Covid19 on the education for sustainable development in Aug. 23, 2020. The Prof. TC Chang of the institution participated in the conference and presented a report.

The Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TISE) held annual Global Corporate Sustainability Award (GCSA) and Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Award (TCSA) in 2021. The National Taiwan Normal University submitted two cases to participate in the event and the case of University's social responsibility for helping aged people got a Silver Prize.

Professor Tzuchau Chang of the Graduate Institute of Environmental Education has served as a member of the international consultant committee of the Global Environmental Education Partnership (GEEP) during the previous three years.

This university has an ongoing mentoring relationship with National Taichung University of Science and Technology (NTST). The Dr. Shin-Jia He of NTST participated in the process of reporting the THE (Times Higher Education) Impact Rankings of the university (NTNU), and the Prof. Tzuchau Chang of NTNU was invited to give presentations on Sustainable Development Goals and THE Impact Rankings to the Center of General Education of NTST.
