Environmental Monitoring and Planning Program

A brief description of the undergraduate minor or concentration:

The characteristics of this course aim to strengthen students' basic geoscience literacy and environmental monitoring capabilities, and train them to have integrated development competitiveness in environmental management. The ultimate goal is to develop the advanced tasks of the school's theory and technology integration, teaching and application integration, campus and society integration, and academic and industrial integration.

This course aims to combine the existing cross-faculty team of teachers in the field of geo-sciences, technical teams such as GIS and satellite imagery, and research teams in the field of engineering. Through the integration of related topical experimental equipment and resources, the exchange of experts and scholars at home and abroad, the curriculum The improvement of research and development and teaching methods, the establishment of experimental areas and the integration of technology, in order to strengthen the basic ability of students in cross-field learning, and achieve the cultivation of students' competitiveness in integrated development. Furthermore, through the team's process planning and teaching improvement, combined with talents in the fields of geography, engineering, life sciences, environmental sciences, and image analysis, the level of my country's academic development and territorial management will be improved. The training of talents in this program is based on geography, and the goal is to complete the following three items:

Region and Tourism Planning Program

The characteristic of this program is to respond to the trend of globalization and the development and changes of Taiwan, based on geography, integrate regional development and innovation, and deepen the development of tourism, and train students to respond to theoretical and practical knowledge. The purpose is to train students in regional research and tourism planning. Practical ability.

Through a series of "planning" related courses, students can understand the theory and practical operation process of planning, and cooperate with public sector planning units to conduct course teaching and discussion. "Tourism" focuses on the characteristics and differences of different scales and regions, forming cultural and social resources, and strengthening the depth of tourism development. With the addition of "laws and regulations", it provides students with space technology and methods for understanding the laws and administrative connotations required for land development, regional development, and land development. Help students to learn independently, practical operation, research ability, and the establishment of information judgment ability, so that students can adapt to future work prospects. The training of talents in this program is based on geography and completes three goals:
