A brief description of the institution’s sustainability partnerships with the local community:
Muhlenberg College has formal partnership(s) with the local community, including school districts, government agencies, non-profit organizations, or other entities, to work together to advance sustainability within the community.
The College works with the local city government which has a number of sustainability initiatives on which they're working citywide. Student groups have done educational programming on sustainability with the Allentown School District and non-profit community partners. Students have participated in sustainability connected courses that work on projects to benefit community partners, and have also volunteered with efforts intended to advance sustainability in Allentown.
