Goal 5 in the Indigenous Strategic Plan is: Respectful and inclusive curricula and pedagogies. Strategies include: Indigenization of the Curriculum and Student Learning, Faculty Development, Enrolled Indigenous Students, and Indigenous Students seeking Admission.

The President’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisory Committee was set up in fall 2020, with 15 members made up of students, faculty and staff from across campus to bring a breadth of lived experiences and expertise. Currently hiring an Associate Vice President, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
