MRU's rooftop Solar 1 installation of 360 panels @ 400 Watts per panel, installed at a 10 degree angle, has a potential power generation rate of 144 kW. Natural Resources Canada (NRC) recommends an installed angle of 15 degrees for MRU's latitude, but MRu went with a non-optimal panel angle for safety reasons (i.e. minimize the chance that winds displace panels).
