The Canadian Parks Collective for Innovation and Leadership (CPCIL), an initiative through the Institute for Environmental Sustainability (IES) puts out a newsletter monthly. The newsletter features recent news regarding parks and protected areas, upcoming events or conferences, research and publications, and job postings.

Low flush toilets - bathrooms which have undergone renovations include low flush toilets. In each of the stalls there is permanent signage that describes the use and purpose of the low flush toilets.
LEED buildings - newly constructed buildings such as the Riddell Library and Learning Center which have obtained a LEED Rating have postings regarding such rating.
Showers are located in the Riddell Library and Learning Center for cyclists commuting to campus.
Recycle/Compost signage is present throughout campus to encourage staff, students and faculty to demonstrate and encourage sustainable waste management on campus.
Ablution facilities are new to campus and allow for washing before prayer, signage for ablution facilities are located near each facility.

The Residence Handbook, provided to each person living in residence mentions briefly energy conservation and their efforts to recycle, compost, and turn the lights off when away or not in use. It also provides a campus walking map for students.
