This inventory included full-time faculty, part-time faculty, and staff researchers.

The MRU Institute of Environmental Sustainability (IES) selects and funds sustainability-focused research within Mount Royal University. The Institute also collaborates with externally funded researchers who work through MRU IES. Sustainability-focused research concentrates on the concept of sustainability, including its social, economic and environmental spheres.
An inventory listing sustainability research conducted in the academic year 2019, 2020, and 2021 was collated by the IES Program Administrator from the 2019, 2020, and 2021 Annual Reports.
