The green building rating system used is LEED NC 1.0. All new buildings on campus and any expansion to existing buildings are required to attain LEED status.
The Riddell Library and Learning Centre completed construction Sept 2017 and is designed to meet LEED Gold standards. It has not been officially certified yet at July 2019 and therefore not recorded above.
The following buildings were certified within the 5 years 2012-2017:
- Taylor Centre for the Performing Arts; Completed 2015; LEED Gold
The following buildings were certified prior to 2012:
- Roderick Mah Centre for Continuous Learning (RMCCL); Opened in 2006; LEED Gold certified
- Expansion of the Roderick Mah Centre for Continuous Learning (RMCCL); Completed in 2011; LEED Gold
- Science and Technology Building Expansion; Completed in 2011; LEED Silver
