Cleaning services are currently provided by Scot Young (Western) Limited, Mount Royal's, commercial cleaning contractor. Cleaning contracts are awarded by Facilities Management and Supply Chain Services and include a sustainability component in the Request for Proposal process.

A brief description of the energy management or benchmarking program:

In August 2016 - April 2017, Mount Royal University had a three phase evaluation conducted of the EA, EB, EC, ED and Main Campus buildings to establish rational energy performance targets for each building, identify energy efficiency potential and measures. Implementation of improvements are underway and performance of the buildings is being measured quarterly against prior performance and energy performance targets.
