JMH LaunchPad Program

In 2017, Mount Royal University was designated a Changemaker Campus by Ashoka U. Mount Royal University is Alberta's first designated Changemaker Campus. A Changemaker Campus operated in socially and environmentally conscious ways to address local and global challenges. Mount Royal University is the third Canadian institution to receive the honour.
One of the innovative programs which helped lead to this designation includes the JMH LaunchPad Program. This program supports students build companies, projects, ideas, careers. Each year, a JMH LaunchPad Pitch Competition is held with allows MRU entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas for their share of $80,000 in cash and services to support their business venture growth.
