1) Social Innovation Extension Certificate (4 courses/60 hours) – Social Innovation in Canada explains that change-makers/ social innovators are increasingly called upon to fill gaps left by the recent government devolution of responsibilities. These change-makers/social innovators provide “novel solutions to social problems that are more effective, efficient, just or sustainable than existing solutions and for which value created occurs primarily to society as a whole rather than the private individual.” (Program started in Fall 2016).
