A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
All new employees are required to participate in Diversity Training for New Employees. Throughout the year, diversity workshops are provided for self enrollment through the Center for Teaching and Learning. Yearly activities celebrating various cultures are coordinated through Multicultural Student Affairs and the Celebrating Diversity Task Group. Past activities have included language labs, workshops, guest speakers, panel discussions, exhibits, demonstrations, and other formats.
