The College has an English Language Lab, and English Language Learner Specialists. We also have Multicultural Student Affairs, International Student Affairs, and Disability Services departments. Additional academic support through our Enrichment Programs & Services department. We also have several Trio programs. MVCC also has a global and diversity education coordinator, faculty member, regarding diversity in curriculum. We also have academic advising and counseling departments available.

All new faculty are provided with a Mentor as they begin their career with Moraine Valley. These Mentors are chosen based on their position with the college, how long they have been employed and their ability to serve in a leadership, guidance role. Mentors meet with their Mentee for at least a year and are the Mentee's confidant, point of reference person and support for learning the intricacies of the College.
