Cy-Rides is a free, internet based, carpool matching and tracking program administered by Moraine Valley. The 2010 Campaign, involving emails, student outreach and display booths at college events, was targeted primarily at the student population but Cy-Rides is also open to staff and faculty.

Based on user surveys, approximately 20% of rides posted on Cy-Rides result in a shared ride. Using these figures along with IRS vehicle operating costs and EPA assumptions, we estimate that in 2010 MVCC community reduced: C02(lbs)45,570
