Montana Governor's Local Food and Agriculture Summit:

The Summit planning committee included representatives from the Montana Department of Agriculture, Montana Governor’s Office, Montana Office of Public Instruction, Montana Farmers Union, Montana Team Nutrition, Montana Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Lake County Community Development Corporation, Community Food and Agriculture Coalition, National Center for Appropriate Technology
(NCAT), Alternative Energy Resources Organization, Montana State University, and the Northern Plains Resource Council.

MSU collaborates with colleges in the rocky mountain region through the Sustainability Professionals of the Northern Rockies (SPNR) and state wide throughout the Montana University System (MUS) on a wide range of sustainability related efforts including food and dining, climate action plan goals, procurement policies, etc.
