Sustainabilibash
A brief description of the campaign, including how students and/or employees were engaged:
MSU's student sustainability club Sustainability Now (SNow) host an annual Earth Week event entitled Sustainabilibash. The objective of this event is to highlight sustainability initiatives that are ongoing in the community, and to create connections between organizations, students, faculty and staff that can yield positive change. The event takes place on the MSU campus and invites the community to communicate with organizations - student groups, non-profits, research groups, MSU departments, and private enterprise.
A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign:
Sustainabilibash has increased campus and community engagement with sustainability initiatives and continues to raise the profile of sustainability efforts in the community. The events attendance has increased each year, including both the number of visitors and the number of organizations involved. Connections made during the event have resulted in increased engagement in student clubs - with membership increasing each year in SNow and other clubs - and increased awareness of organizations such as the MSU Office of Sustainability.
