Be Well Do Well (STUDENTS)
The Be Well Do Well Peer Mentor Program matches students who have mental health issues with a mentor to discuss both personal and academic wellness goals and strategies. Mentors are not counsellors, but second year Social Service Worker Students.

Students across all Mohawk campuses can visit Wellness4U to access a variety of supportive services offered by a diverse team of health nurse promoters. Our services are free and confidential. At Wellness 4U is here to provide you with the information, tools, skills and resources you need to take care of your body and your mind so that you can thrive here at Mohawk.
Mental Health in Motion
Mental Health in Motion is a peer lead group that engages students through dialogue while creating awareness and resources available on and off campus in an effort to end the stigma and misconceptions related to Mental Health. Peer to peer initiatives is one of the best ways to engage students who may have concerns with sharing their stories with a professional, or who find it difficult to reach out for help.
Therapist Assisted Online (TAO)
Therapist Assisted Online (TAO) is an interactive, dynamic and easy to use web-based program that provides assistance for addressing issues such as anxiety and depression and other common concerns that can be experienced during the time you are student at Mohawk.

Accessible on campus, same day appointments, early and late appointments, covered by OHIP and extended healthcare benefits. Our multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals allows for a thorough, holistic and individualized experience.

6.1 Prohibited Areas
Smoking and use of smokeless products, including vapes and cannabis, is not permitted anywhere on Mohawk College property, including parking lots and personal vehicles while on College property, residences, College owned vehicles, sports fields and pathways.
6.7 Indigenous Traditional Use Exemption
The College recognizes and supports that traditional Indigenous events and ceremonies may involve smudging or other materials as provided under the Smoke-Free Ontario Act. The College will permit the on-campus use of the four sacred medicines in connection with Indigenous holistic practices at cultural and educational events, meetings and other events as appropriate.
The use of tobacco or tobacco products, or products from Indigenous cultures for other significant cultural, ethnic or spiritual purposes will also be permitted on a case-by-case basis.
