Does the institution have a bicycle-sharing program or participate in a local bicycle-sharing program?:
Yes
A brief description of the bicycle sharing program:
The Sustainability Office offers a Bike Loan Program. Rentals are facilitated by the Library. 12 bikes and 1 trike are housed in the Secure Bike Parking Cage. Students are allowed to rent bikes and helmets free of charge for 72hrs at a time.

A brief description of the car sharing program:
Mohawk College offers an employee car-share program. Employees may reserve one of several hybird vehicles located on the Fennell campus to conduct business travel, attend off-site meetings, etc. The goal of this program is to both reduce emissions, and to avoid the use of employees' personal vehicles.

In addition, Mohawk College has partnered with ZipCar. There are two ZipCars on campus that students can rent and access 24/7. This programs helps reduce the number of vehicles on the road and parking demand on campus.

Mohawk College has eight (8) Chargepoint Level 2 dual EV charging stations. At the main Fennell campus, there are 12 spots placed through the parking lot and 4 spots at our satellite campus in Stoney Creek. Preferred parking is provided for these spots.

Mohawk College incentivizes carpooling by allowing up to 4 license plates to share a parking pass. Only 1 of the 4 plates can be parked on any campus at a time.
