Yes

A brief description of the incentive program(s):
A Global Learning Opportunity (GLO) is a learning experience for full time Mohawk students and faculty that takes place abroad. The purpose of GLO funded trips is to provide students and faculty opportunities to increase global competencies and intercultural awareness. Faculty may use these trips for professional development required to generate sustainable curriculum. In order to be approved, trips and activities must align with one UN Sustainable Development Goal

A brief description of the incentives that academic staff who participate in the program(s) receive:
Through this framework, faculty can receive 100% funding for trips which align with the following activities: Teaching or co-teaching, exchange, research, volunteering, industry visit. Activities undertaken during the Faculty trips MUST align with and contribute to at least one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In addition, trips should also contribute to learnings which enhance curriculum development, research, or institutional goals.
