Environmental Technician - 453-463
Environmental Technician students develop a comprehensive understanding of sustainability challenges through both curriculum, capstone projects and coop internships. In class, students learn the fundementals of environmentally related industry processses such as waste water treatment, and other fundemental ecological principals. Courses such as Environmental Resource Management, and Air Quality & Climate Change explore the relationship between environment, the economy and society - with a special focus on environmental ethics. Students undertake a paid co-op semester before graduation whereby skills are transferred directly into the workplace.
