Yes

A brief description of the facilities for bicycle commuters:

Mohawk College is home to a 48-spot secure bike parking facility. This facility is available to all Mohawk staff and students who cycle to campus. The David Bradley Athletics Recreation Centre has shower facilities for bicycle commuters to use.

A brief description of the bicycle sharing program:

The College offers free bike loans to staff and students from our main campus, Fennell. We have 13 bikes ready for rental. In 2016 most of the bikes were used from March - November. The climate in our region and infrastructure in the City isn't the most conducive to winter cycling which limits the practicality during those times of the year.

Yes

A brief description of the mass transit programs:

All full-time students pay a termly fee to enroll in the Universal Bus Pass program, which allows them unlimited use of local transit in the City of Hamilton. Students can also receive stickers to travel on regional transit at a discounted rate.

Throught the Smart Commute program, students and employees have access to an Emergency Ride home program. Emergency Ride Home provides commuters at Smart Commute workplaces with reimbursement for transportation used during unplanned events and emergencies. Emergency Ride Home is like an insurance policy for sustainable commuting; it gives commuters peace of mind when they choose carpooling, vanpooling, public transit, cycling and walking. A brief description of the carpool/vanpool program:

Mohawk promotes carpool matching for students and employees through Smart Commute Hamilton's CarpoolZone.ca tool. This program is promoted throughout each term, during region-wide events (Carpool Week, Smart Commute Week), and through internal sites. Mohawk College also promotes carpooling and ride-sharing through the app "Pop-a-ride" where students can post rides to and from campus outside of the Hamilton.

Mohawk College also allows for 4 license plates to be registered with one parking pass. One one of the cars can be one campus at the same time but students can share parking permits and take turns driving to campus.

Mohawk College has partnered with ZipCar. There are two ZipCars on campus that students can rent and access 24/7. This programs helps reduce the number of vehicles on the road and parking demand on campus.

Yes

Mohawk College has eight (8) Chargepoint Level 2 dual EV charging stations. At the main Fennell campus, there are 12 spots placed through the parking lot and 4 spots at our satellite campus in Stoney Creek. Preferred parking is provided for these spots.

All Mohawk employees have the opportunity to telecommute. Telecommuting practices are determined between the employee and the manager.

A Compressed Work Week Agreement is an agreement between the College, the Union, and the staff member, which allows the parties to implement more flexible hours of work. Staff may request a compressed work week and such requests may be
