A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:
An Employee Engagement Survey was completed in October 2013. This was the 5th employee engagement survey conducted in the College since 2004. A third party provider and on-line survey were utilized to provide complete confidentiality. Individual survey links were sent to all 1,803 employees. Continuing Education faculty were included for the first time in response to feedback received from the 2011 survey.
The survey was comprised of 53 closed questions and 3 open ended questions. Reports were provided on overall College results, for VP areas, and at the Chief, Dean and Associate Dean levels. To ensure anonymity of results, a commitment was made that results would not be provided for groups of less than 20 employees.
