Yes

A brief description of any policies and programs to minimize the cost of attendance for low-income students:
Mohawk is committed to supporting students through Scholarships and Bursaries Scholarships - are financial awards based on academic achievement and alternate suggested criteria. Scholarships are usually determined by the academic departments and students do not apply for consideration. Generally determined at the end of the winter semester. Bursaries - assist students in financial need and may include alternate suggested criteria. Bursaries are determined by the Awards Office and require students to complete the Financial Needs Assessment Profile prior to each semester for consideration. Various award bursaries are available each semester in an academic year. A full list if Scholarships and Bursaries provided through the College can be seen here: http://student.ftlams.com/?surl=c4ca5ea2-af81-4c4f-af60-8a39c87ec33d In addition to these awards all Mohawk students also have acces to the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP:https://osap.gov.on.ca/OSAPPortal) and the 30% Off Ontario Tuition Grant (http://www.mohawkcollege.ca/financial-assistance/day-school-student-options/30-percent-off-ontario-tuition.html) Mohawk also provides the Campus Student Employment Program (CSEP) in an effort to connect students with meaningful work opportunities on campus and to aid in their financial needs. To be eligible for CSEP students must demonstrate financial need through a Financial Need Assessment Profile. The Future Ready Loyalty Card is a tool that enables Mohawk College to build relationships with members of vulnerable youth in the community who typically would not pursue post-secondary education. The card and its benefits are meant to promote affinity to the college and can help minimize financial barriers that deter participation. Eligible participants will have the opportunity to earn up to 1,000 points, translating to a $1,000 bursary, by participating in identified events endorsed by Mohawk College. Mohawk's Financial Assistance website with full details of all programs can be seen here:http://www.mohawkcollege.ca/financial-assistance/day-school-student-options.html
