A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about student commuting:

Each full-time student is provided with a Universal Transit Pass each term. Data is collected from the parking office to determine the number of students who purchase regular or carpool parking passes for our Campus parking lot.

Transportation Engineering also conduct an annual audit analyzing the various transportation options used to get to campus.

The College has begun conducting periodic modal counts and annual survey to determine modal splits. The College is committed to reducing single-occupant vehicle travel by developing programs and services, and building infrastructure, which supports the development of a multi-modal network.

A new multi-modal transit terminal will begin construction in 2014, in partnership with the City of Hamilton and Metrolinx.
